Our first look
at the County Comm GP4L Pocket shortwave
radio. We ordered this small radio
for the emergency bag. It arrived just
a few days after ordering. All it needs
are batteries to get started
The GP4L shortwave radio arries
in this simple, labeled box with
instructions right on top
Everything arrived in perfect
shape thanks to efficent packaging
I added the 2 AA batteries and
was listening to the radio. There
is abuilt in antenna, which allowed
me to hear all / most of the
local AM and FM radio stations
in town. I didn't have as much
luck with shortwave, so I have
been testing it at different
times of day and night and I
plan to take the GP4L Pocket
shortwave radio with me for the
next few weeks to test it at
other locations
There is also a cool LED light
on the top of the radio, I just
wish it had it's own switch or
button so the LED light could
be used while the radio is on..
as it is now, the switch is
either selected to; radio, off
or LED light. That is the only
complaint so far, stay tuned
for updates as we use this GP4L
Pocket shortwave radio more
